Short Teot's War universe pieces and excerpts:

I had one short story published in the Teot universe. Kvetch digitized and proofread a copy of A Devotee of Conscience, published 1988 in Pandora #20. There's the nicely formatted pdf copy here. If you can't read pdf files, there is a text file here. I did the illo myself, pencilling and then inking it myself on vellum to suit requirements for Pandora, which also takes submissions of artwork. The original illustration is here (with a median filter to remove scan artifacts here, and a monochrome filter here). The monochrome one is in the pdf file, and I told Kvetch that it was the closest to the original publication's look.

If you haven't read Bloodstorm yet, there is an excerpt in pdf format here (text format here). It was a text excerpt in Pandora #22. Kvetch f rom the IBDoF forum did a good job on proofing it, he says it may not be perfect.

This link goes to a back-listing of characters in the Song of Naga Teot. (We have not yet done Bloodstorm or later ones.)

This Excel-format spreadsheet of characters was put together by Kvetch for my IBDoF forum, many thanks!

The following are some early hand drawn maps of the area around Tan through in the various historical ages. NOTE: **BIG** graphic files.

This was a scanned map of Teot book terrain, showing Tan and surrounding countries.

The same map with notes on early migrations before the arrival of the Tannese.

The same map showing the impact of the Tannese conquest of the Sek clans.

Same map, explaining the Osa invasion of Tan in Fourth History

Tan's Seventh History, showing the development of smuggling and Nando expansion.

A legend/explanation of the maps. It's a scan of early typscript I did on Tannese history, running from far in the past to some way into the future.

This is a slightly more recent map of Birchwood Hold, to assist me with writing my current draft of the third Teot book. It was put together by my friend Alan, a geographer, using open-source software.

Be Careful What you Ask for: How to Build Worlds, Look Silly, and Argue with Imaginary People

An essay done for a semiprozine . It ended up with editing issues, so I may revamp it eventually for coherence. Yes, one of these days, some time soon. Any day now. And so on.

The Tale of the Virtual Cat

For Andre Norton's cat anthologies, this sotry is more sf than f. It mixes a brain salad from virtual surgeons, AIs, leftover prehistoric coding, an obnoxious General Services supervisor, and a cat. This being a cat anthology, of course everybody gets exactly what they deserve. Co-written with my long-time friends, sf and cat nuts, Alan Osborn and Don Clayton.
